FunCakes Fondant Multipack Essential Colours 5x100g

The roll fondant from FunCakes has a new and improved recipe. The new fondant is now stronger, more elastic and even smoother than before. Thanks to the additional strength, the fondant is easy to use under all conditions. It is now even better suited for working in warmer and humid climates. In addition, the strength prevents cracking and breaking of the covered surface. Say goodbye to the dreaded elephant skin!

Thanks to the additional elasticity, the fondant is more flexible and supple than before. This makes modelling with FunCakes fondant even easier and all kinds of shapes and designs can now be easily created. Irregularities can be removed much better and the fondant can be rolled out very thin.

Due to its silky matt surface, FunCakes Fondant is ideal for covering a cake with sharp edges. If you want to cut out shapes from the fondant, you are guaranteed clean and sharp results. The new recipes are forgiving of many mistakes and are therefore suitable for everyone, from beginners to professionals!

The set contains black, yellow, red, green and blue roll fondant and can also be used to make beautiful decorations.

To cover a round cake with a diameter of 24/26 cm you need about 600 grams of fondant. If you want to make decorations like a bow, add some Tylopowder and/or water.

To get the best possible result, the following procedure is recommended:

The fondant should preferably be at room temperature.

Knead the fondant until it is smooth and elastic.

Dust the work surface with a little icing sugar and roll the fondant with a rolling pin to an even mass (2-3 mm thick). Turn the fondant a quarter of a turn at a time to avoid it sticking to the surface. Are small cracks still visible at the edges of the fondant when it is rolled out? Knead the fondant well again until the edges are smooth when you roll it out. Then the fondant is ready for use.
